Chapter 15, 16, and 17 (Zaider the header)

One day he catches a deer so he has extra food.
He sees a moose and some wolves killing it.
he hopes there will be some meat lerft the next day.
He goes searching the next and finds a hut and goes in.
He finds people and the people let him sleep there!
In a few weeks the people let him go back to his family in America and they call the plane to come!!!

Chaoter 17: Brian heard the explsing noise again but it was pretty warm so he was wondering what else it could be. When Brian set of to look for the noise he pased by where the mose carcass was and he thought after he discovers what the noise was he would get a bit of the meat. Then he thought of making skis but he knew it would be hard but he was thinking about it.

Chapter's 15 & 16: Brian went out to hunt and he found a deer it was a buck and he shoot but his hand moved a little up so he thought he was going to miss but he got it and he felt sorry to the dear and he as saying that he should of missed but then he dragged the carcass back to his shalter and he cooked and he ate. The next day he set out to hunt again and he found a big moose that was a male bull and he thought it was twice as big as the female one. Then he saw gray spots running around and he knew they where wolves four of them then, they attacked the moose and ate him alive and Brian left them alone.

Chapter 11 & 12 By Iguana! Please stop insulting me!

He is in winter.

It is snowing.

Itis raining.

He has a lot of food!

Brian finds out he has missed thanksgiving and has a thanksgiving meal made out of Moose in berry sause.

That night he hears a gunshot...

Chapter 8,9, and 10 By Iguana (Zaider the Header!)

Brian wakes up one morning and goes outside. He is amazed at what he sees! He sees snow...

He thinks how he can hunt. He's worried! He can't stay in all day. He'll starve and die.

He goes hunting. He sees some rabbits. He shoots one. He misses, but somewthing else grabs his attention. He sees a moose. He tryes and hunts it.

He shoots it. The arrow shoots the chest and it is badly injured.

It comes charging at Brian and bangs him in the forehead and the moose dies because it can't take the pain aymore!

Brian is badly injured but skins the Moose and has to cut it up to take it to camp. It is very heavy.

When he gets back he stores the meat and gets in the sleeping bag and it a flick second goes to sleep!

5-6-7 chapters by Adrienne

Brian realized winter is coming it's practically hear. So with all the rabbit skins he caught he makes a furry vest out of the rabbit skins. He needs to hurry. He is making rabbit shoes out of rabbit skins and sews it with it's needles and string he got from the survival pack. The winter rain has come and he's scared. He realizes he needs to hunt and has to find food, but when he steps out of the shelter it's winter!

3-4 chapters Adrienne

In these chapters Brian makes a stronger bow ans arrow and different shapes and sizes for bigger and smaller animals. He gets caribo meat from the wolves and killes many animals. He is now a good hunter but the word "winter" scares him. It's dangouros and hard. No food. Animals are scace and the lake is all ready close to completly frozen. He must survive and not give up. It's a matter of life and death.

A long summary of chapter 5, 6, & 7 BY DANIEL

Chapter 5: Brian saw 2 wolves with a big slice of meat in there mouth, then he saw the body of a doe that the wolves were eating. So when the wolves left the carcass, Brian went and got the carcass and he carried it on his shoulder till his shelter. Then he put the carcass down, then he felt sorry for the doe so then he promised that he wouldn't waste a part of the carcass. So he cut some pieces from the carcass and put it on the freeing pan. Then he went to sleep and woke up at the middle of the night and he ate some of the carcass and he went back to sleep, then he woke up at the morning and ate the carcass and then he thought that he can make a warm coat out of the doe's skin. Then Brian started making arrow's and he finished them the next day and then he said the bow is ready to be string and then his trials will start. Then he smelled it, it was a skunk, the skunk came in his shelter and it faced his butt at Brian and aimed, Brian thought that he was dead, but then he threw a piece of carcass at the skunk and the skunk terned and got the piece of carcass and he went out of Brian's shelter. Then Brian thought that he had a pet skunk that was a terrorist. Then Brian thought that the skunk will be gone by morning, so Brian went to sleep.

Chapter 6: When Brian woke up the first thing he went to do was to see if the skunk was out there but the skunk was gone so Brian was happy. Then the meat was finished only one more bite so when he put that part of meat on the fire the skunk came and raised his tail and aimed but did not shot. Then again Brian threw a piece of carcass and the skunk put his tail down but the skunk put it up again and aimed again because the carcass was to hot. So Brian said wait till the carcass gets cool okay, so the skunk seemed to understand Brian so the skunk waited till it got cool and went behind the rock and disappeared. Then Brian took 2 loops around the rocks and on the second loop he saw some grass then he saw something black and white and he new it was the skunk. So the skunk saw him raised his tail and Brian fed it. Brian named the skunk Betty that reminds Brian of his aunt that is round and waddles while she walks just like the skunk.
Brian used the string of his sleeping bag to tie it to his bow and he tried the bow and Brian released and the arrow went a two hundred yards. Brian said that every shot he takes with the bow and arrow his arm, hands, and fingers starts to hurt. Brian said that the arrows left the bow so fast that he could not see it, and the arrow went through the hummock and broke the stone tips. Then at night Brian remade the arrow tips and he knew that he would be hunting in bigger games. When Brian was practising shooting the hummock he saw a chest of a deer, then Brian said to him self that he would hunt a deer the next day with his bow and arrow. So then he fed Betty the skunk and she was satisfied.

Chapter 7: Brian awakened at the night and he looked on top of him and saw a massive Bear leaning close to him. All the Bear wanted was the carcass of the doe, and the bad thing was that Brian was laying in the middle of the carcass and the Bear. So then the Bear hit Brian one more time. But this time the Bear hit Brian hard. Then for Brian's luck Betty the skunk arrived and sprayed at the Bear's eye's and the Bear started growling. Then the Bear started banging it's head on the floor and back and forth and the Bear finally went out of the shelter and left a lot of damage in Brian's shelter. So Betty the skunk pointed her tail at Brian and then Brian gives her a big piece of meat and she put her tail down and went with the piece of meat to her borrow. And Brian sleeps with a smile on his face. The next morning Brian fixed his shelter.

Chapter 5, 6, And 7 By Zaid Bangee

In these chapters Brian goes through some dangerous things. One night he hears wolfs killing something. The next morning he goes and searches for the carcas. He finds out it's a doe. (a baby deer) He brought it back to his shelter and opens it and cooks the meat and eat some of it. (the carcas is big) One day a skunk comes and points its tail and brian. (it did not shoot the stench at brian) Brian think it must be hungry and gives him/her some of the meet. For the next few days it has been doing this. One night, when Brian was asleep, he suddenly feels the wall tip over on him! He awakens and sees that there is a bear! He think it must have smelt the venison meat! Suddenly the skunk comes and sprey the bear and the bear runs away! Because the skunk saves Brians life, Brian classes it as a friend and thinks it is a girl and calls it Betty.

What Happend in Brian's Winter (Paige)CH.5-6-7

Brian woke up to ice around the lake. He saw wolves carring fresh in the night. In the morning he woke up and Brian decided to go look for any extra meat. Surprise, surprise there was deer meat. Brian started to pull the meat back to his camp, but he saw that blood from the deer left tracks. Other animals might track him down so he decided to carry it back on his shoulders. When he got back to camp he was exhausted. The meat was about 20 pounds. So Brian got right to work and began skinning the deer. It was a lot harder than skinning a rabbit! When everything was done he had a feast with a lot of meat leftover. A few days later a skunk came up to the door because it smelled the meat. Brian didn't want to get "bombed" again so he threw a piece of meat to the skunk. The skunk ate the meat. Brian then said," oh just great I now have a terriost coming to my door everyday for food." The skunk came everyday and Brain grew fond of the skunk.

A short summary of chapter 3 & 4 By Daniel

Chapter 3: Winter is coming at the Canadian forest. Brian had been stayed in his shelter for 6 days straight but only came out to hunt, because there was a rain for those 6 days straight, then when the rain finished he observed stuff and saw that the leaves in the tree's where changing and the sky was changing, and he was thinking of how he came to notice this right now instead of a long time ago. Then Brian went to hunt in the Rain and he made 2 kills with the same arrow, so he called that arrow My Medicine Arrow.

Chapter 4: Winter has come to the Canadian forest and Brian thought that it was so cold that he thought he was going to freeze to death. Brian goes out in the cold wind and go's find some dry wood so he can make his shelter more warmer then colder. But then when he put the fire high he starts to caulf and he makes some room so that the smoke can get out.

Ch. Brian's Winter 3 & 4 by Kunaal

Brian is getting ready for winter by getting more wood for the fire. He's repairing the damage the bear did. The next day was a rainy day at the forest and lake was almost frozen solid. Winter is starting and will have to try to survive the cold. Hunting is going to be thouif for Brian in the cold and in the big blanket of snow

A summary of chapter Three & Four by Zaid Bangee

Brian Robsen is stuck in the Canadian wilderness. Chapter three and four tells you how he uses his skill to servive.

He made a bow earlier on and know he has used his special skills he has learned from bieng in the Canadian wilderness for so long. He makes a very powerful bow which he call the war bow and a very strong arrow what he calls the medicene arrow which can kill or badly injure nearly everything! He uses it to hunt and catch his prey. (which is manly rabbit or foolbird)
One day he notices its getting cold. He goes out and some of the leaves have been dried up.
The next day he sees rain! It goes on for seven days! On the eighth day he comes outside and there are a flock of swans migrating south. When he sees this he really knows that winter is coming!
He goes to his tent and finds that his sleeping bag is wet. when he goes hunting from now on, he will collect the rabbit skin to make a carpit out of it.

Brian's winter ch3-4 (Paige)

Ch.3 :Brain is gearing up for the winter and reparing the dameag the bear did.Brian is planing out what he is going to do abouting eating he is also macking his "home" more wamer by geting more wood for the fire ,macking the houes more pached up so sown doese not come in and put out the fire.

Ch.4:it was a ranie day in the wilderness but Brain didn't seem to like it at all for days Brain had to live in the cold rant he feel like his body was frezzing.One night he woke to no rain droppes he was so happy,but that next mornig was frezzing he could see his breth it was so cold.He looked out sid to see ice around the lake he was surspize.He colesd the door and got the fire going and sat near and warmed him self.a littile later it was a good tempertur so he sat out side on his sleeping bag and looked at the sky in a few min.time a flock of gesse flew over him he wished how he could get that gesse but he knew he would miss and he had other sutff to do like make his houes rain proof.

Ch:1- Brain has finished with all the food in the survival pack. He want food and is lazy. Then he goes out to hunt and his rifle breakes. He is now shooting animals with his bow and arrows. The meat tastes like wood and killes the pray slowly. He wants to go home and can smell the chicken at his house with his mom. He misses home and wants to go back.

Ch:2- Brian's wakes up to a rear of a bear in his face. The bear smelled the food and came to the shelter of Brian's. He needs the food and kicks the bear in the rear. Brian is scared but needs food. Surviaval is all about food. The bear picks up Brian and throws him across the room the bear leaves without looking back. This is were Brian is lazy and can't get up. His body aches from the attack. He's full but not full enouh. He now's winter is coming and has to survive his worst enemy.

we read a book called HATCHET it is about boy gets lots in the canadian forest and has to survive.Gary Paulsen wort BRIAN'S WINTER.It's if brian did not get rescuedand had to live though winter.



Ch.1:Brain had eaten the last of his food from the survivle pack.He had to hunt agine. on his hunting jornie Brian's rifle brackes so he headed back to camp to get his bow&arow and go back to hunting that way (wicht wasn't to great becauseit made the food tast like wood wicht wasn't a good taste).He ate sutff like a brid he liked to call foolbrid,fish,rabites,and other sutff you can find in the forest


Ch.2: Brian was sleeping to wake up to a bears rear end he(wakin up to a bears rear end while you have been out in the wilderness fo over 2 monthes well lets just say you would not want to wake up to a stinkey rear in your face in the wilderness). Brian had to survive he just couldent dide so he kicked the bear in the rear the bear turend and through Brian arcosss the room.Brain sat there for a moment.Brain body was sore and brian had a matck from a bear scrach from the bear.Brian is not to happy after what just happend.

Ch. 1 & 2: Brian's hunting skills have become better. He kills and eats a rabbit, fish and a type of bird he calls a foolsbird. Brian is having some good time and bad times. Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 By Daniel Chaves

Chapter 1: Brian is dreaming about food because he misses the food he use to eat at his home with his mom. He found a survival pack with lot's of food and equipments that he can use. But then he ran out of those types of food that he likes. So he had to get back to eating foolbirds and rabbits. Tell now it is his sixty eight day in the Canadian forest.

Chapter 2: Brian saw a Wolf coming close to him and he was not scared nether was the Wolf scared. Then after a while the Wolf came again but with a young male. But the Wolf that Brian first saw was a male. Then a while later a bear came but it meant no harm, again Brian was not scared. Brian is thinking the Wolf and the Bear as a friend. Brian came to now Bears as well as Wolves and Birds. When Brian was sleeping and got up his face was in front of a Bears butt, and he thought he was dreaming so he shook his head and then he discovered he was not dreaming. Then Brian was mad so he kicked the Bear. ( I think that was not a good idea to kick a Bear.) Then suddenly the Bear turned around and trough Brian out of his shelter and dogged in a spot were Brian leaves the guts of fish and stuff like that. Brian had a Mark of the Bear's claw.

Chapter One & Two - He is a specialist Hunter. He eats Rabbits, A kind of bird what he calls a foolbird, and Fish. In the first two chapters it talks about all the good things and bad thing he has gone through in this forest. He gets wacked by a bear & shows of the tecniques he uses to hunt and survive!
